While flat towing my pickup truck behind my motorhome, on interstate 94 eastbound, in Minnesota I noticed smoke on my screen in the motorhome back facing camera. I safety pulled over to a truck rest area in Avon Minnesota. I went to investigate and realized that the pickup truck had flames coming from underneath the hood. Oil cooler failed and truck was at dealer for a month over winter. Now June 20th transmission failed and there is no timeframe on the valve body. I am still making payments on this truck and no dealers have a timeframe.

The rear camera view is skewed resulting in inaccurate reference angles of the vehicle. When used to assist in reversing results in improper placement of vehicle and can cause collision of vehicle with objects.

The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed and shifting into a lower gear, the vehicle was jerking with an audible sound coming from the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic; however, the diagnostic result was not available. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 180,000.
